The sixth Corbett Pearce annual conclave concluded at the Birla Vidya Mandir here on Friday. Students from 17 schools from across India are participating in the conclave. The participants were informed about the rules of the competition on the first day.
Various competitive events including quiz, debate, writing competition and art installation competition among others are being held as part of the conclave. Following registrations, the first rounds of general knowledge quiz, debate competition and writing competition were held on the first day. The formal inaurugation was held on the second day with Woodbridge School, Bhawwali principal Vinay Kar as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he exhorted the participants to learn from each other while also asking them to not get hassled during the competitive events. Earlier, the Birla Vidya Mandir principal Anil Sharma welcomed the chief guest. The final rounds of the competitions were held later in the day. Speaking after distribution of the prizes, Sharma thanked all the participants and the schools. He said that efforts to continue holding such events in the future will help in all round development of the students.
