The annual magazine ‘Diksha’ published by the teachers and students of the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) under the Faculty of Education was released by the vice- chancellor of Kumaun University, Prof Diwan Singh Rawat at its DCB campus. Among those present during the release programme were the dean of Education Faculty Prof Atul Joshi, head of ITEP Ashok Upreti and chief editor of the magazine Pushpa Adhikari.
On this occasion, the VC and dean congratulated the editorial board of the magazine and all the teachers of the department and gave suggestions for betterment. They further said that the magazine gave the students a medium for creativity and enhancing their writing skills aside from articulating their ideas on issues of social concern.
