Annual session of IIA, Doon concludes with stress on MSME

The annual session of the Indian Industries Association (IIA)’s Doon chapter recently concluded in Dehradun. Addressing the session, the divisional chairman, IIA for Garhwal, Tarun Goyal highlighted the unit’s functioning and objectives while its president for the year 2024-25, Puneet Wadhwa informed the session about the year-long achievements of the Dehradun unit, particularly the efforts made in the MSME sector. Wadhwa also explained how the Dehradun chapter had played an important role in supporting, guiding and empowering local industries.
The new executive committee of the unit was also announced during the session with Archit Dawar as president, Anshuman Goyal as vice- president and Akshat Bansal as secretary. The programme concluded with a pledge taken to further strengthen the MSME sector.
Among the dignitaries present were the deputy labour commissioner, Umesh Chandra Rai; general manager, District Industries Centre, Anjali Rawat and drug controller, Ayurvedic and Unani services, K S Napalchayal.
