In latest news from Doon, with exodus from Congress continuing, another senior leader from Haridwar Rajesh Rastogi resigned from the party. In his letter to the Congress’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge, he mentioned the growing influence of dynasts in the Congress while launching broadside at Harish Rawat for having foisted his son Virender as the party candidate for Haridwar constituency. He warned that if factionalism and the growing trend of selling/buying tickets is not reined in, the Congress would cease to be an opposition party soon.
