In latest news from Uttarakhand, with terror ambushes on the army personnel continuing in Jammu and Kashmir, another army jawan hailing from Uttarakhand has been martyred. It is learnt that Rifleman Gautam Kumar (28) hailing from Kotdwar, Puari Garhwal district was killed in terror attack in Poonch in Rajoiri sector. He was to get married in March next, according to the bereaved members of the martyr’s family. It is learnt from the army sources that the martyred soldier was deputed as Refleman in the 89 Armed Regiment of the Indian Army. His mortal remains are being taken to his home, army sources further informed. A day back, another soldier from Chamoli district of Uttarakhand Virendra Singh fell to the terror bullet in Rajoiri sector. Notably, a total of five jawans have been killed in terror attacks in the same sector over the last few days and two of them are from Uttarakhand.
