The police on Wednesday found another body of a woman where the decomposed body of a woman and a baby was found a day before in the garbage in the Badowala area of Patelnagar in Dehradun. The senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said that the police found the bodies of the woman and the baby late on Tuesday after the locals complained of a stinking smell from the spot.
However, the SSP instructed not to conduct a search operation around the incident site at night due to the danger of wild animals roaming in the nearby forest. The SSP deployed two constables there to secure the incident site during the night. The search operation was conducted on Wednesday morning when the police found the body of another woman in the same area during the search. Besides this, the police team also recovered a bag from the site with the word Mumbai written on it. It contained some artificial jewellery, some children’s clothes and other items.
The SSP said that the police have contacted the Mumbai Police regarding the dead bodies. Police have been interrogating suspicious persons and those who worked near the site. The police have found no clue regarding their identity so far, Singh said.
