 ‘Anveshan’ – North Zone 2025 inaugurates at GBPUAT

The AIU Anveshan–North Zone Student Research Convention 2025- jointly organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology- was inaugurated at the GBPUAT on Tuesday. Among those present on the occasion included the vice- chancellor, Kumaun University, D S Rawat; vice-chancellor, GBPUAT, Manmohan Singh Chauhan and patron, North Zone Anveshan, Amarendra Pani.

Addressing the programme, Prof Rawat shared experiences from his life and insights on achieving excellence through dedication and commitment in research. The VC, GBPUAT shared his own research experiences on in-vitro fertilization and ovum pickup technology in goat, buffalo and cow.   Pani highlighted the formation, objectives, policy decisions and achievements of AIU in the fields of teaching and research.

Notably,                            over 50 universities from across India are participating in Anveshan 2025. In the North Zone alone, 1,800 students from 30 universities registered for the event. A total of 375 students presented their projects in two phases—poster presentations and oral (podium) presentations of shortlisted entries.
