Appointment letters presented to 285 youths at Rozgar Mela in Doon

Rozgar Mela 2024, (Phase-2) was organised at Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) campus at Seema Dwar here on Monday during which 285 newly appointed youths were presented with appointment letters. The Union minister of state, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta was present as the chief guest at this ceremony. He in his address said that such Rozgar Mela had been organised at 45 centres across States and Union Territories, adding that appointment letters were being distributed to about 71,000 youth across India, including Uttarakhand, on this day.
Appointment letters were distributed to various central police organisations, including Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force and Sashastra Seema Bal, in Dehradun.
Through an online virtual meeting, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished and congratulated the youths on their appointment. Over 50,000 vacant posts have been filled in central police organisations alone.
