ARIES striving to solve nature’s riddles: director

On the third day of the foundation day celebration of Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), the director Manish Naja said that the scientists and researchers of ARIES have been constantly striving to solve the riddles of nature. “We will continue to contribute our mite towards the goal of self-reliant India and developed India,” he said, adding that in a short span of a few decades, ARIES has left its mark in science at the international level.

He further said that monitoring of space debris would also be started from the institute in near future. “At present, the institute is doing research work with Sampurnand telescope and optical telescope 3.6 meter as well as the 4 meter International Liquid Mirror Telescope. Important projects like ST Radar are also being conducted for the study of atmospheric science,” he said.
