In latest news from Uttarakhand, the State Election Commission and the Rudraprayag district administration have made fool-proof arrangements for a smooth vote counting for the Kedarnath Assembly by-election held on November 20, said the State’s additional chief electoral officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande, adding that the training of the counting staff had been completed. He further said that counting would be held at Ukhimath and the place around the counting centre had been divided into three zones to bolster security during the counting. The counting will start at 8 AM and is likely to be completed by 2 PM.
