Arya directs officials to train coaches for 38th National Games

The Sports minister Rekha Arya has directed the officials to ensure that the coaches are adequately prepared for the successful organisation of the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand. She issued this instruction at a meeting held to discuss the preparations for the upcoming National Games. Arya emphasised the importance of completing all preparations on time for the proposed National Games in October-November this year. She specifically assigned five key responsibilities to the coaches, including the need for training and sports training, as well as open-house discussions, which are being conducted to ensure fair play in all aspects. In this manner, every one of the 500 coaches has been given responsibility in various aspects. It is necessary for them to acquire authority in order to empower the upcoming players as well, she said.
Arya further emphasised the need to train all the coaches to ensure a commendable performance in the National Games. A conclave, under the guidance of the chief minister will soon be arranged with the tentative dates being February 21 or 22. She expressed pride in having the opportunity to organise the National Games and the officials have been instructed to prepare the coaches effectively, enabling the players to secure the maximum number of medals. Defined responsibilities have been assigned to everyone in this regard, and the officials have been told to complete the event preparations at the earliest, she said.
