Arya instructs officials to complete preparations for 38th National Games

The Sports minister Rekha Arya instructed officials that all preparations related to the 38th National Games should be completed on time and without any gaps. She said this while chairing a meeting which was also attended by chief secretary Radha Raturi on Thursday.
Arya said that she has given instructions to the officials for the timely completion of all preparations related to the games without any deficiencies. In accordance with the directives of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, it was agreed that the foundation stone for the proposed Sports University and Girls Sports College in Lohaghat would be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 28, 2025, marking the inauguration of the National Games, she said.
Arya further added that to address any complications related to the land for the Sports University, the chief secretary, principal secretary of the Forest department and PWD officials have been instructed to resolve all issues within a week. Further, the CS has been mandated to expedite the allocation of funds for Girls Sports College Lohaghat at the earliest.
