Arya stresses on providing gas connections to all anganwadi centres across U’khand

She said half of these centres do not have gas connection

In latest Dehradun news, the State women empowerment and child development minister Rekha Arya while chairing a review meeting of her department via video conferencing said that as half of the anganwadi centres situated across Uttarakhand are bereft of gas cylinders these must be provided with gas connections at the earliest. She also reviewed the filling of the posts of anganwadi helpers and workers and the functioning status of the anganwadi centres and model anganwadi centres.   Besides, the implementation status of a number of welfare projects like pradhan mantri matru vandana yojana, nanda gaura yojana, beti bachao beti padhao yojana, one-stop centre scheme, anchal amrit yojana and mukhya mantri bal  poshan yojana was reviewed during the meeting and the minister issued instructions to the officials  concerned.
