The eminent sage and Vedic scholar Pandit Laxmikant Mathuranath Dixit, who conducted the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as the chief priest, breathed his last in Varanasi.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat in their condolence messages expressed deep grief over the demise of the Hindu scholar and described it as an irreparable loss for the spiritual tradition of the country.
