Assembly bypolls: BJP candidates Bhadana & Bhandari file nomination papers

The BJP candidates Avtar Singh Bhadana and Rajendra Singh Bhandari filed their nomination papers for the Mangalur and Badrinath assembly by elections respectively on Wednesday.
Bhandana filed his nomination papers to the returning officer at Jwalapur in Haridwar. He was accompanied by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, president of Uttarakhand unit of BJP Mahendra Bhatt, Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat and other senior leaders of the party.
The BJP candidate from Badrinath, Rajendra Singh Bhandari filed his nomination papers at the office of returning officer at Gopeshwar on Wednesday. CM Dhami, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat and other leaders were in Gopeshwar on Wednesday to attend the nomination proceedings of Bhandari.
Addressing a public meeting at Gopeshwar, the CM said that BJP candidate Bhandari and BJP president Mahendra Bhatt have dedicated their lives for the service of people of the area. He said that now both of them will work together for development of the area with the blessings of the people. Dhami said that while the BJP government is working to make Uttarakhand the best State in the country, the Congress party has nothing to do with the public welfare measures.
He said that Uttarakhand became the first State in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Dhami added that strict anti-copying was enacted in the State and the recruitment examinations have become transparent. The CM said that after the riots in Haldwani the State government brought an anti riot act.
The CM said that many historic decisions such as abrogation of article 370, implementation of CAA and abolition of triple talaq were taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A grand temple of Lord Ram was constructed in Ayodhya.
He said that work on the Badrinath master plan, rope way to Hemkund Sahib, Garson- Auli ropeway and others are underway in Badrinath assembly. The CM assured the State government will take up the development works in Badrinath on the basis of priority.
He appealed to the people to send BJP candidate Bhandari in the assembly with a huge victory margin.
