In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chest physician of the Government B D Pandey District Hospital Dr Abhishek Kumar Gupta said that with the onset of winter, the number of patients with asthma complaints keeps surging, adding that people should avoid dust and anything they are allergic to during Deepavali festivities. He also urged them to take Vitamin C-rich fruits. He also mentioned COPD as another factor which brings a large number of patients during this time. The symptoms of COPD are cough, fever, chest pain with burning sensation during urination, he added.
