The don-turned-politician and former MP Atiq Ahmed has been shifted to Naini jail in Prayagraj from Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad. His brother Ashraf has been shifted from Bareilly to Naini jail. Two brothers have been kept in high-security barracks, it is learnt. Atiq’s fate as regards 2007 Umesh Pal kidnapping case is set to be decided on Tuesday (March 28). His brother is also set to be produced before the court. The verdict of the case is being awaited.
