In latest news from Uttarakhand, acting tough on the firearm attack on the camp office of the Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar by the former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ and his armed followers, the SSP Haridwar Pramendra Dobhal has transferred the senior sub- inspector, Roorkee police station, to the police lines and suspended with immediate effect the sub-inspector, Roorkee police station, taking into view their failure to reach the spot in time and to pass on the information of the incident to the senior police officials.
