It was a double blow for Australia in the ongoing T-20 World Cup. Its legendary batsman David Warner, who failed to score a run in its match against India which the latter won overwhelmingly, bade goodbye to international cricket and Afghanistan’s victory against Bangladesh dumped Australia out of the WC reckoning.
Notably, Warner has 49 international centuries to his name. He made his Test debut against New Zealand in 2011 and following this, he continued to represent Australia in all the three formats. Despite his Test career being quirky with ups and downs, he was quite successful in ODI and T20 formats.
He has 26 centuries to his name in Test format apart from three double centuries. Besides, he crossed the 300 run mark once. He scored 37 fifties in Test matches and scored 6932 runs in ODI format at a strike rate of 97.26 and an average of 45.01. He scored 22 centuries in ODI matches and crossed the fifty run mark 33 times.
