The authorities have recovered the body of one of the two men who drowned near Chila powerhouse in Rishikesh on Monday. The officials of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) informed that two 25-year-old men Pramod Kumar and Pankaj Singh, who were Delhi residents, drowned near Chila powerhouse on March 7. Since then, the SDRF team of Dhalwala has been searching for the bodies and finally found the body of Pramod Kumar on Thursday after conducting a search operation for four days, informed the officials. According to them, the driver of SDRF used a water communication set and found the body at about 30 metres depth. The body has been handed over to the police who have informed the family of the deceased. The officials said that SDRF will continue its search operation for the second body from Friday.
