The authorities failed to find the body of the missing woman official of the Forest department in the Chilla accident that occurred on Monday evening despite hours of search operation conducted by deep divers in the Chilla Shakti Canal on Tuesday. The officials informed that intensive searching was done by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) through search equipment like sonar and underwater drones. Besides this, SDRF’s deep divers were also continuously searching deep in the canal by scuba diving. The authorities also conducted a search using rafts, motor boats and other methods but they found no trace of the missing woman said the officials. The authorities also stopped the water of the canal for a thorough search of the woman. They said that the search operation was stopped due to increasing darkness and fog at night but it will be resumed on Wednesday. A Forest department vehicle met with an accident between Rishikesh and Chilla on Tuesday evening. The vehicle was carrying 10 people out of whom four persons died, five sustained injuries and one woman is still missing.
