In order to raise awareness among the students about AIDS, the volunteers of the National Service Scheme at DAV PG college in collaboration with the Red Club unit organised an awareness campaign on Friday. During the programme, experts in the field educated Students about AIDS. Additionally, a rally was conducted in the entire college featuring slogans related to AIDS.
Speaking on the occasion principal of DAV PG College SK Singh emphasised that World AIDS Day, observed every year on December 1 worldwide, serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about AIDS. In light of this, he provided relevant information and precautions regarding AIDS. Furthermore, Senior Programme Officer Rakesh Shah Lal gave the volunteers comprehensive information on AIDS prevention, awareness, and contributing to service in society. He also motivated all volunteers to actively participate in the awareness campaign.
