A new record is all set to be made in Ayodhya, known as Ramnagri, on the occasion of Deppawali. Twenty four lakh diyas would be lighted on the occasion of Chote Diwali along 51 prominent ghats dotting the holy town, including Ram Ki Pauri ghat and Choudhary Charan Singh ghat. Besides, the whole town has been decked with decorative lights to mark the festive occasion. Further, laser show depicting the whole gamut of Lord Rama’s life would be organised on Ram Ki Pauri ghat. The Uttar Pradesh government officers said that all the works are being done on the directions of the chief minister Yogi Adityanath. This is the seventh Deepawali since Yogi Adityanath became CM of the State. Over 25,000 volunteers have been engaged to ensure a smooth celebration of the festival.
