The chief executive officer of Patanjali Ayurved Acharya Balkrishna claimed that thanks to the research being conducted by the Patanjali Research Institute (PRI), a large number of Ayurvedic medicines based on the medicinal herbs, are entering the markets across the world and serving the entire humanity. According to Patanjali, while researching into the healing properties of the Ayurvedic medicines, the professors of Australia’s Swinburne University and the scientists of the Patanjali Research Institute conducted extensive research into the ayurvedic medicines that can help increase the number of good bacteria in human body.
Speaking of this matter, Balkrishna said that the world- renowned FEMS Microbiology Ecology of Oxford University Press has given recognition to the new research done by PRI. He said that it was a matter of great satisfaction for them that the scientists from foreign countries are now not just recognising the health-enhancing and healing properties of ayurveda but are coming forward to conduct research on ayurveda themselves.
He further said that earlier too, Patanjali Ayurved had conducted research on Giloy, Ashwagandha, Putrajeevak, Shivlingi seeds and many others and these had figured prominently in prestigious journals like Elsevier, Springer, Frontiers, Nature, Molecules, Biomolecules, Journal of Separation Science, Journal of Inflammation Research and Nanoscale Advances.
He averred that Patanjali Ayurved functions in strict conformity with the scientific standards in laboratories recognised by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
