From now on no ayurvedic medicine can be sold without the ayurvedic pharmacy having a proper license. The decision has been taken by the Indian Medical Council Uttarakhand. Besides, the state will start Ayurvedic Dietician Course. Informing this, the head of the Uttarakhand chapter of the council J N Nautiyal said that several new appointments have been made in the council. It is also learnt that aside from the Ayurvedic Dietician Course, a number of other courses would be launched soon. The meeting passed another proposal and that is regarding the Unani medicines. It has also been decided that the same license rule would apply to the Unani pharmacists.
