The health minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the process of making cards of Ayushman scheme would be simplified. He presided over a meeting of the health department here on Thursday. He said that the process of making cards should be simplified and within two months the facility should be made available for 70 Lakh people of the state. The minister said that the 104 helpline should be extended to cover health issues of every citizen including the senior citizens. He said that 3232 ANM and Community Health Officers would be provided with tablets to make health services high tech in rural areas.
The health secretary Amit Negi, additional secretary C Ravishankar, Mission Director of National Health Mission (NHM) Sonika, director general (DG), health services Dr Tripti Bahuguna and others attended the meeting.
