AYUSH hospitals to have separate norms in the clinical establishment act

Separate norms would be made in the Clinical Establishment Act for the AYUSH hospitals. A meeting of the Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad was held on April, 24 in New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by the Parishad, Dr Jayant Dev Pujari. Experts from all the states attended the meeting.
Informing about the meeting, the president of Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad, Uttarakhand, Dr JN Nautiyal said, “ The meeting focussed on the clinical establishment act and laid emphasis on the inclusion of infrastructure, manpower and specialist medicine according to the AYUSH methods’’.
At present there is one clinical establishment act for allopathic and AYUSH hospitals in the whole country. Due to which AYUSH doctors of the country face a lot of problems. “Thus in this context, a clinical establishment act will be made for AYUSH which would be implemented in the country. Nautiyal further said that In the Clinical Establishment Act for AYUSH, the nodal officer will be made at the district level. The new clinical establishment act would help in all-round development of AYUSH practitioners.
