The three-day business to business travel and tourism showcase and conclave began in Dehradun on Thursday. Officials of the state tourism boards, representatives from the travel trade fraternity, hoteliers and tour operators from Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Bengaluru, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, and other parts of India were present on the occasion.
Along with Uttarakhand Tourism, other participants in the event include Gujarat Tourism, Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam along with a number of participants from the private sector. The show is aimed at bringing together under one roof the best of the travel industry from all over India for restarting and reviving tourism in India.
After browsing various options, visitors can engage in face to face meetings with tours operators, travel agents, hoteliers and other service providers to gather the necessary information and make an instant booking in a hassle-free manner.
ITM managing director Ajay Gupta said, “With the upcoming summer season and Holi around the corner, we have specially designed packages, best deals for the people of Dehradun and nearby cities. The basic purpose of holding this showcase and conclave is to boost tourism awareness worldwide.” The event is open from 11 AM to 6 PM today and from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday.
