Badola’s family denies demanding compensation from govt

The family of Deepak Badola alias Ravi who died at the shootout at Dobhal Chowk in Raipur on June 15 has reportedly denied demanding any compensation for the deceased and the injured from the government. They have claimed that some people are spreading false propaganda to fulfil their own motives, the Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said.
The Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma Kau visited the residence of Badola family as the representative of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The SSP was also present during this visit. They talked to the deceased’s father and wife and assured them that stringent action will be taken against all accused involved in the Badola’s murder case. They also assured them of strong advocacy of the case in the court to bring all culprits to justice.
The SSP said that the police will also identify all the illegally acquired property of the accused and will confiscate them under the Gangster Act. Besides this, the police will also take effective action against those who had been involved in the illegal business of the accused. The police will also take action against them and their properties as per the rules. The SSP informed that the family members told them they had never demanded any compensation for the deceased and the injured. They claimed that some people have been spreading false propaganda to fulfil their own motives.
The SSP also warned of strict action against those trying to benefit from this incident by spreading misinformation.
