The Badri- Kedar and Sree Kartik Swami Express-launched by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) in association with IRCTC-left Yognagri Rishikesh station for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai on Friday with 270 people on board. The secretary, tourism and CEO UTDB, Sachin Kurve said that the package offers pilgrims a comprehensive journey to several religious destinations in 11 days and 10 nights.
The 3AC train- adorned with 14 coaches, including 10 guest coaches, one electricity operated modern AC kitchen car, one staff coach and two generator coaches- serves Uttarakhandi cuisine to passengers along with other popular dishes.
