The head of Bageshwar Dham Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Baba will arrive in Dehradun on Saturday and will hold a programme at Parade Ground. Thousands of people are expected to gather there to meet Shashtri. Considering this, the Dehradun police have made elaborate security arrangements around Parade Ground. There will be a complete zero zone around the Parade Ground from noon. Several routes will also remain diverted on Saturday. All buses and maxi cab vehicles arriving from ISBT, Shimla Bypass and GMS Road will be parked in the Bannu School parking lot from Kargi Chowk, Old Bypass Chowk via Dharampur Chowk. All buses and maxi cab vehicles arriving from Ring Road and Chhee number Puliya will be parked in Race Course Gurudwara parking from Fountain Chowk to Agarwal Bakery. Those arriving from Mussoorie or Rajpur Road will be parked in the parking lot inside Survey of India, Hathibadkala. All buses and maxi cab vehicles coming from the Premnagar side will be parked in The Doon School parking lot from Bindal Cut via Ballupur to Kishannagar Chowk. All vehicles will be parked at Rangers Ground, Pavilion Ground, Lord Venkateshwar and Mangla Devi school parking lots, said the police. All Vikrams of the Raipur route will be sent back from Sahastradhara crossing. All the Vikrams of the Dharampur route will be sent from Tehsil Chowk to Doon Chowk towards MKP Chowk. Vikrams of ISBT and Kanwali routes will be sent back from the Railway Gate. Police will also install barriers at Sahastradhara Crossing, Bindal Tiraha, Ballupur Chowk, Kishannagar Chowk, Araghar T-Junction, Tehsil Chowk, Prince Chowk and Buddha Chowk. All traffic will be resumed to normal after the event ends at Parade Ground, as per police.
