Bageshwar win tribute to Dass, approval of double-engine Govt and BJP’s works: Bhatt

The central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party has patted the party’s State president Mahendra Bhatt and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s back following the victory of party candidate Parvati Dass in the Bageshwar Assembly by-election. The BJP national president JP Nadda and national general secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh tweeted about the electoral win and also telephoned Bhatt to wish him on the victory of the party candidate. According to party sources, the morale of the BJP cadre has been boosted by this electoral win before the Lok Sabha elections slated to be held early next year. Celebrating the electoral win with party workers at the party’s State office here after the results were declared, Bhatt said that the voters have validated the works done by the late MLA Chandan Ram Dass, the developmental policies of the Dhami government and the functioning of the double-engine government. Stating that this is a positive sign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP State president claimed that the party will win all the five seats in Uttarakhand in the parliamentary elections.
Interacting with the media on the occasion, he thanked the people of Bageshwar for the victory of the party candidate. “This victory is a tribute paid by the locals to the works done by the late Chandan Ram Dass for development of the area. The people have reiterated their faith in the works done for the development of Bageshwar and the rest of the State under the leadership of CM Dhami. Under the leadership of our victorious candidate Parvati Dass, the incomplete dreams of her late husband Chandan Ram Dass, for the development of the constituency will be fulfilled. The fifth consecutive victory of the BJP candidate in Bageshwar shows that the confidence of the people in the party is consistently rising,” he averred.
Regarding the Congress, he said that the opposition party had spread disinformation regarding votes being bought but the voters were not influenced by such talk. He said that the BJP will analyse this electoral win and move forward with more strength.
