The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni has said that the gang rape of a minor girl in Bahadarabad in Haridwar and her subsequent murder shows the pathetic law and order condition in the State. Interacting with media-persons at the headquarters of Uttarakhand Congress on Wednesday, Dasauni said that the crime against women is increasing in the State.
She said that the heinous crime in Bahadrabad was executed by the BJP leader and member of OBC commission Aditya Raj Saini. Dasauni said in the provisional State capital Dehradun also the crime against women is increasing unabatedly. She listed recent rape of a 15 year old, recovery of decomposed bodies of a six month old child and women and other incidents as indicative of the deteriorating law and order situation in Dehradun.
She said that it appears that the administration is in slumber and in absence of any fear from Police and authorities; the criminals are having a free run.
The Congress leader said that CM Dhami should come out of his narcissistic attitude and take cognizance of the law and order situation and the increasing cases of crime against women.
