The Bajrang Dal activists held a vehement protest outside a mall where the Shah Rukh Khan Starrer movie Pathan movie was being shown. The agitated protesters tried to enter inside the mall while raising slogans, but the police stopped them. The police arrested the protestors and took them to the Roshnabad Police lines. Many Hindu organisations are continuously opposing Pathan movie and one of its songs.
The controversy that started with Pathan and its song Besharam Rang has continued even after its release on Wednesday. Although the protests after the deletion of some scenes from the film have now subsided, the Bajrang Dal workers held a protest on the opening day of the movie in Haridwar. On receiving the information, Inspector SIIDCUL, Ramesh Tanwar reached the spot along with the police team and stopped the workers from entering the mall.
