The District Cooperative Bank, Haridwar stated in a communique released on Wednesday that the Ganeshpur branch of the bank has taken possession of mortgaged property belonging to a loan defaulter Seema Rani, wife of Ramchandra, resident of Krishna Nagar, Salempur Tehsil, Roorkee, under Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI Act).
The bank officials said that the bank would continue to take similar actions under SARFAESI Act against the loan repayment defaulters in the coming days.
