In latest news from Doon, the senior IAS officer Banshidhar Tiwari, known in the administrative circles for his impeccable efficiency, has once again been given the important responsibility of the director general (DG) Education. This decision followed the incumbent Jharna Kamthan being sent for training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. As per the government order issued on this matter, Tiwari will hold this post as a substitute till March 28.
At present, Tiwari is holding the posts of additional secretary, director general of Information and vice-president, MDDA.
