The election office of BJP candidate from Roorkee and the sitting MLA, Pradeep Batra was inaugurated in the presence of MP, former Union minister and ex-CM Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Nishank said that the highway from Roorkee to Delhi and the ring road around Roorkee were built during the term of the BJP government. He said that the Central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to build a medical college in every district of the nation and an AIIMS in each state.
Batra spoke about the various development works undertaken in the constituency during his term. He said that he will carry forward the development process on being elected again from Roorkee. The Roorkee mayor Gaurav Goel and office bearers of the party were also present on the occasion.
