In order to check the progress of development works and interact with party workers, the Bharatiya Janata Party state president Banshidhar Bhagat will begin a tour of all Vidhan Sabha constituencies from December 24.
The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan informed that Bhagat will begin his tour of the assembly constituencies on Thursday from the Mussoorie constituency. In addition to holding three meetings in each assembly constituency, Bhagat will also spend the night in each constituency. According to the tour schedule of the BJP state president, he will visit the Mussoorie, Rajpur Road, Kotdwar, Jaspur and Kashipur constituencies in the first leg of his tour. Bhagat will hold three types of meetings in each of the constituency he is visiting. He will hold meeting with Shakti Kendra coordinators and district office bearers in the constituency. Bhagat will hold meeting with senior party workers who have held various posts in the past, party’s public representatives in the district Panchayat, municipal bodies, district cooperative bank chairmen, fomer and current MLAs. In the third meeting, the BJP state president will sit with senior party workers living in the constituency and listen to their issues.
Chauhan further said that Bhagat will meet the senior party workers separately and learn about their issues. One state general secretary of the party will also be present with Bhagat during the programme. The BJP state president will depart from his residence in Dehradun on Thursday morning for Mussoorie constituency to begin the tour of the assembly constituencies.
