In latest news from Uttarakhand, the process of the portal closing ceremony of the Kedarnath shrine slated on November 15 will commence on November 11 with the closure of the temple dedicated to Lord Bhairavnath, deemed as the protector of Lord Kedarnath, scheduled on November 11. This temple situated behind the Kedarnath shrine is scheduled to be closed for the six winter months amidst the traditional rituals at 3 pm. Speaking of the matter, the Sri Badri-Kedar Temple Committee Ajendra Ajay said that due to scheduled closure of the Bhairavnath temple on November 11, the Kedarnath shrine would remain closed for the devotees from 12 pm till 4 pm. However, the Kedarnath Yatra would continue till the portals of this shrine are closed for the winter on November 15.
