Bharat Gaurav Express to enable U’khand people to visit south India on pilgrimage

In latest Uttarakhand news, Bharat Gaurav Express is all set to start its journey from Uttarakhand to south India. It will enable the people of Uttarakhand to visit the well-known tourist places in South India endowed with spiritual/religious significance. This railway project has been initiated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. Bookings for this rail journey have already started. This train will take the passengers to the revered religious/spiritual places across south India from July 10 to 20.
According to the railway officials, the passengers of the Bharat Gaurav train will board or deboard from Rishikesh, Haridwar, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sahajanpur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Rae Barely, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Manikpur and Satna.
The passengers of this train may travel Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Ramnath Swamy Temple (Rameswaram), Meenakshi Temple and Kanyakumari. The package will cover 10 nights and 11 days and the passengers would be provided with breakfast and lunch and dinner. AC and non-AC buses will be arranged for them for travelling.
The sleeper class package will cost Rs 20,870 (one to three persons), while the cost per child will be Rs 19,642. Similarly, in standard class (third AC), the package will cost Rs 35,072 (one to three persons) and Rs 33,628 per child. The package in comfort class (second AC) involves Rs 46557 (one to three person) while the cost for a child is Rs 44,825. The child, however, should be aged from 5 to 11 years.
