In latest news from Uttarakhand, in another incident of human –wild life conflict, a prowling leopard dragged away a seven-year-old girl when she was playing in late evening in the courtyard of her home in Srinagar in Pauri district. Her relatives found her around 100 metres away in an unconscious state and rushed her to a hospital. On being informed, a forest department team reached the place. She had wounds on her neck and other parts of her body, the doctors treating her at the hospital said, adding that the State health minister Dhan Singh Rawat had ordered proper treatment for the girl.
