Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has claimed that there is a massive wave in the country in support of BJP and the people have made up their minds to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive term. Addressing a public meeting in Ropar, Punjab in support of BJP candidate from Anandpur Sahib, Subhash Sharma on Tuesday, the Uttarakhand CM said in view of the impending defeat, Rahul Gandhi has become very desperate and has started opposing the country. Rahul Gandhi has also left his traditional constituency of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
Launching an attack on the AAP, Dhami said that the party has left the principles on which it was formed and they are now using the broom over the hard earned money of the general public. He said that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will be in jail again on May 2 and he will face legal proceedings in the liquor scam. Dhami said that the opposition parties want to stop Narendra Modi from becoming PM of the country again and for this they have forged an unholy alliance, the INDIA bloc. He claimed that the people of the country will not allow the dreams of leaders of INDIA bloc to come true. Dhami said that India has progressed at a fast pace under leadership of PM Modi and soon the country will be the third biggest economy of the world. He said that Uttarakhand has implemented the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the BJP has said in its manifesto that it will implement UCC in the country.
The CM also attended a road show in the town in support of BJP candidate Sharma.
