Bihar will now become the first state to have an online registration of land while sitting at home. The decision came after numerous meetings of the experts at IIT Roorkee. With this plan underway, the hassle of going to the registrar office and completing all the formalities will be not be needed as it will be done at the click of a button. This technology will reportedly have the person know about the progress of the online work as information regarding the measurement and demarcation will be available online. To avoid any kind of fraud, the GIS based technology will be put to use in which the information about the four corners of the land from longitude to latitude will be available.
