Bijarniya elected president of PRSI Dehradun chapter

Ravi Bijarniya was unanimously elected president in the general meeting of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Dehradun chapter. He is currently working as deputy director in the Information and Public Relations department. Further, Anil Sati was re-elected as secretary while Suresh Chandra Bhatt was elected treasurer along with AN Tripathy as vice president and Rakesh Dobhal as joint minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Bijarniya said that the PRSI organisation will work as a bridge to ensure that the government’s schemes reach the common people. Information technology and social media will be used especially for this purpose. Programmes will be organised regularly on topics related to public interest and social concerns. Efforts will also be made to promote Uttarakhand’s culture, tourism and cuisine through the nationwide network of PRSI. Expressing gratitude to all the members, Bijarniya said that efforts will be made to connect people associated with public relations of all the departments and organisations of the State with the organisation. Outgoing president Amit Pokhriyal thanked all the members. He said that as the president, he had organised various programmes. Former president of PRSI Dehradun chapter Vimal Dabral, NC member Anil Verma and others were also present on the occasion.
