The 76th annual festival was celebrated in the Birla Vidya Mandir in Nainital on Saturday through a number of cultural programmes organised mostly by the students to mark the occasion.
The chief guest of the festival was a retired Indian Foreign Service officer J K Tripathi who is also an alumnus of the school. He said in this address that this institute has been playing an unparalleled role in the realm of transparent education. The celebration began with guard of honour given by the NCC students to the chief guest.
While addressing the school fraternity, the principal Anil Kumar Sharma said that this institute is one of the leading residential schools not just in Uttarakhand but in India as well.
