State Congress spokesperson Sheeshpal Singh Bisht has also staked his claim for the party’s ticket for Kedarnath Assembly by-election. He submitted the proposal of his candidature to the vice president of State Congress Mathura Dutt Joshi and Amarjeet Singh, the political advisor of the PCC president Karan Mahara on Friday.
Bisht said that he has been active in Kedarnath from a long time and commands a good support in the area. He claimed that if given party’s ticket he will ensure victory of Congress from the constituency. Bisht said that the people of Kedarnath have made up their mind to defeat BJP and send Congress MLA to the State Assembly. He expressed confidence that the Congress party will contest the election united manner in Kedarnath and register victory just like it did in Manglaur and Badrinath.
