Claiming victory of the BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal in the Kedarnath Assembly bypoll, the media in-charge of the State BJP Manveer Chauhan said that the people of Kedarnath have voted for development of the area and the vision of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
He said that the Kedarnath bypoll result will be a lesson for Congress that the elections are won by hard work on ground and not by engaging in a misinformation campaign. Chauhan said that while BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal had presented a picture of development during her two tenures, the Congress candidate could not spend the MLA local area development fund given to him.
Taking a dig at the claims of the Congress leaders on the election result, the BJP media in- charge said that they should keep patience as the election result will shake them out of the slumber they are in. He said that the people of Kedarnath had made up their mind to send Asha Nautiyal to the State Assembly and now their verdict is closed in the EVMs. Chauhan claimed that the people have given their clear verdict against the supporters of land, love and spit Jihad and have made it clear that they will not accept those engaged in politics of appeasement.
