BJP calls budget a step towards growth, economic stability & social harmony

The Bharatiya Janata Party has described the Uttarakhand government’s budget as a step towards inclusive growth, economic stability and social harmony. The BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said the budget is based on the principles of innovation, self-reliance, heritage and resilience, which will contribute to the State’s development.
According to Bhatt, provisions have been made for the comprehensive progress of all sections of society. The budget focuses on agriculture, industry, energy, infrastructure, connectivity, tourism and AYUSH. He said that funds have been allocated for these sectors to strengthen the State’s economy. He expressed confidence that the budget will help Uttarakhand emerge as a leading state in the coming decade. The BJP national co-treasurer and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal also welcomed the State’s budget, which exceeded Rs one lakh crore for the first time. He described it as a roadmap for a self-reliant Uttarakhand.
According to Bansal, development work is progressing consistently in the State under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He stated that BJP fulfills its promises and continues to work for progress. Bansal said that the budget covers various sectors, ensuring the availability of essential services to the people while promoting industrial growth, infrastructure development and innovation. He said the provisions will lead to large-scale job creation and provide new energy to the State’s economy, resulting in an increase in per capita income.
