BJP contacting devt beneficiaries in Uttarkashi

In latest news from Uttarakhand, in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, the ruling BJP launched a contact programme with the beneficiaries of the welfare schemes rolled out by the BJP government in the State. In the first phase, the people living within the limits of the booth no 133 village Singot and booth no 132 village Pab under Gangotri assembly constituency were contacted, said a senior Uttarkashi district BJP leader Lokendra Singh Bisht. While distributing Uttarakhand government’s New Year calendar and pamphlets on Uniform Civil Code and Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak among the beneficiaries, he said that the BJP government has taken a slew of initiatives for the welfare of Uttarakhand’s people.
He also appealed to the beneficiaries to take the developmental message to their family and community members who remain outside the pale so as to motivate them to avail the benefits too. He further said that the BJP-helmed government remains focused on making every citizen of Uttarakhand partner of development march and take individual and collective prosperity to new heights. He added he would also contact the beneficiaries in other booths of Gangotri assembly in the next few days.
