BJP crosses record of 12 lakh memberships in Uttarakhand

The Uttarakhand BJP has claimed that it has achieved a major milestone by surpassing 12 lakh members as part of its ongoing One Booth, One Worker, 100 Members campaign in the State. The State president of BJP Mahendra Bhatt participated in a programme in Chamoli on the final day of the first phase on Wednesday while State general secretary (organization) Ajey Kumar attended a similar event in Dehradun under the campaign.
The State media in charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that tributes were paid to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at all 11,729 booths across the state on Wednesday. The booth-level workers visited homes, shared the BJP’s ideology and discussed government achievements under the drive. Dedicated individuals were also signed up as party members and stickers were placed at their residences to mark their association. He informed that Bhatt led the campaign in his ancestral village in Chamoli, participating in a programme at booth number 175 in Brahmin Thala, Pokhari. He paid tribute to Upadhyay and highlighted the achievements of the BJP-led government to the villagers and also enrolled them as new members. Kumar also attended a programme in Mussoorie and paid tribute to Upadhyay.
He also encouraged local residents to join the party through a missed call system and placed campaign stickers at their homes. Besides this, the cabinet ministers and senior party leaders, including Premchand Aggarwal and Subodh Uniyal, also led the membership drive in their respective constituencies, ensuring the campaign’s widespread success across Uttarakhand.
